Air Duct Cleaning
The National Air Duct Cleaners Association recommends that the air ducts be cleaned every three to five years.
Air Duct Cleaning removes the dust and collected particles from the intake and return vent covers and the connecting links to reduce the circulation of these within the home or business. Once cleaned, be sure to regularly change your furnace / air conditioner filter to ensure that the hot air being returned to your air conditioner is being efficiently filtered and cooled.
Dryer Vent Cleaning
Remember to Have Your Dryer Vent Cleaned
An often forgotten, but important item to clean is your dryer vent. The vent pipe can become clogged with lint over time, causing the dryer to dry less efficiently, slowing the the drying cycle by as much as two to three times. The dryer can also stall and cease operation.
According to the National Fire Protection Association, nearly 17,000 home clothes dryer fires are reported each year. These clothes dryer fires cause approximately 51 deaths, 380 injuries, and $236 million in property loss. Unsurprisingly, the leading cause of these fires, at 34%, is the failure to clean dryer vents. (Source, January 26, 2017)
